About Early Bird Farm.
Early Bird Farm is nestled in the Sierra Foothills in Nevada City, California. The farm was established in 2014 using sustainable practices to grow the healthiest and most nutrient dense produce. Our milling operation supplies our customers the freshest, highest quality stone ground flour available. Using natural granite stone mills and a personally-developed technique for millstone dressing, we mill at low temperatures to preserve the rich flavor and nutritional value of our wheat, rye, and corn products. We do our milling on demand, assuring you the freshest products available.
Early Bird Farm partners with certified organic growers in Northern California who supply much of our grain, including heritage Frassinetto wheat. Pleasant Grove Farm, a third-generation family farming enterprise, uses regenerative growing practices specific to their farm and crops. Full Belly Farm, in the Capay Valley, is committed to fostering soil fertility, care for the environment, and stable employment for their farm workers.
