The Wildwood story begins in 1978 with a singular vision: To deliver fresh organic and vegetarian dishes to the San Francisco Bay Area. Started in Marin County, deliveries were made by car and bicycle, and their popular products eventually brought Wildwood to the Midwest in search of its vast fields of soybeans. Pulmuone began in Korea in 1955, on a small parcel of land. With a desire to bring fresh, natural foods to Korea, Pulmuone became a leader in the field during the 80s and 90s. The two companies met in 2003, and began a partnership by 2005. Wildwood uses soybeans that are exclusively grown in the U.S., are non-GMO, and are certified organic, and Wildwood products contain no artificial ingredients, hydrogenated oils or synthetic hormones.
