How do we use your information?
We may use the information we collect from you when you register, make a purchase, sign up for our newsletter, respond to a survey or marketing communication, surf the website, or use certain other site features in order to help quickly process your transactions or better serve your product requirements.
What personal information do we collect from the people that visit our website?

What do we do with your information?
When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the PII you give us such as your name, address and email address. When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system. With your permission, we may send you emails about our store, new products and other updates.
How do you get my consent?
When you provide us with PII to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only. If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent, or provide you with an opportunity to say no.

Third Party Gateway Payment Provider
We currently utilize a third party gateway provider to provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you by means of their Internet-Initiated or Application Programming Interface-Initiated Transactions (WEB, CCD, Debit Card, and Credit Card) system (the “Merchant Payment System”).
Your data is stored through the gateway provider’s data storage, databases and the general Merchant Payment System. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.
If you choose to utilize the Merchant Payment System or any other direct payment gateway employed by us to complete your purchase, then such third party gateway payment provider stores your PII, including ACH information and credit card data. It is encrypted through the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (“PCI-DSS”). Your purchase transaction data is stored for the greater of either (a) eighteen (18) months or (b) as long as is necessary to complete your purchase transactions.
Any third party payment gateways we utilize shall adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by Greenleaf and its service providers.
Third Party Services (including any gateway payment provider)
In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.
However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateway providers, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions. For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.
In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located in a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
As an example, if you are located in Canada and your transaction is processed by a payment gateway located in the United States, then your personal information used in completing that transaction may be subject to disclosure under United States legislation, including the Patriot Act.
How do we protect your information?
Our website is scanned on a regular basis for security holes and known vulnerabilities in order to make your visit to our site as safe as possible. We use regular Malware Scanning.
Your personal information is contained behind secured networks and is only accessible by a limited number of persons who have special access rights to such systems, and are required to keep the information confidential. In addition, all sensitive/credit information you supply is encrypted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology.
We utilize a third party gateway payment provider when you purchase products or services from Greenleaf. Although both Greenleaf and our third party gateway payment provider implement a variety of security measures when a user places an order enters, submits, or accesses their information to maintain the safety of your personal information, this policy does not apply to the practices of our third party gateway payment provider or any other companies that Greenleaf does not own or control.
All transactions are processed through a third party gateway payment provider and are not stored or processed on our servers.
Do we use 'cookies'?
You can choose to have your computer warn you each time a cookie is being sent, or you can choose to turn off all cookies. You do this through your browser settings. Since browser is a little different, look at your browser's Help Menu to learn the correct way to modify your cookies.
If you turn cookies off, some of the features that make your site experience more efficient may not function properly that make your site experience more efficient and may not function properly.
Other than as described above, we do not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your PII unless we provide users with advance notice. This does not include website hosting partners and other parties who assist us in operating our website, conducting our business, or serving our users, so long as those parties agree to keep this information confidential. We may also release information when it's release is appropriate to comply with the law, enforce our site policies, or protect ours or others' rights, property or safety.
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to make sure it is not inappropriately lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
