Outside Sales Representative

Responsibilities: 

· Develop and manage relationships with current and potential customers

· Identify and acquire new customers through cold calling and making effective face-to-face presentations

· Present product and service solutions that solve everyday problems in the foodservice industry

· Communicate professionally and effectively with a broad range of customers and fellow employees

· Effectively collaborate with a variety of people in internal departments as well as the Greenleaf management team

· Must be comfortable meeting with prospects and customers in their work environment (professional kitchens)

Qualifications:

· Minimum of 3 years restaurant or food industry experience

· Possess above-average food product knowledge, especially produce, cheese, and specialty foods

· Excellent time management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail

· Valid California Driver’s License and a clean driving record

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills

· Creative problem solving; must be able to overcome challenging situations by finding win-win solutions

· Sales experience is a plus, but not required

Shift: This is a full -time position with frequent local travel. Requires use of personal vehicle to attend meetings throughout the Bay Area.

Pay: From 75,000.00 per year plus bonuses
