Earthworks owner, Andy Powning, had the fortune to dine at numerous Bay Area restaurants while working for a produce distributor. Within one week, he was served a salad strewed with pansy petals, a soup garnished with wild mustard blossoms, and a dessert sporting a mint tip. From this experience, he was inspired to grow and curate the beautiful edible additions he was seeing throughout the restaurant industry.
